Blanc de Toscane I.G.T VinOrange
In 1987, Mauro Galardi planted Verdicchio vines in Poggiopiano with the aim of producing a white wine on our land that would complement Tuscan flavours.
In 2016, Mauro and his daughter Martina decided to continue their research by producing a white wine fermented with a long maceration on the skins, making use of what is initially discarded in a typical white fermentation: the skins and seeds of the grapes.
The entire winemaking process, as well as the selection of grapes in the vineyard, is carried out with the aim of enhancing the contents of the grape skins and seeds, such as tannins and phenolic compounds in general, aromas and aromatic precursors.
