Colour: red leaning towards garnet.
Fragrance: very broad bouquet with notes of plum and ripe cherry, raspberry, spices, and a hint of vanilla. Taste: very rich, very complex, with moderate tannins that perfectly complement sensations of very ripe fruits, leaning towards jam. Persistent aftertaste that confirms the olfactory sensations.
Pairing: ideal as an aperitif or for a wide range of pairings: starters, savoury tarts, shellfish, fish dishes, pasta, white meats, and even desserts. Its remarkable fullness on the palate and great softness allow it to accompany blue cheeses, and even to conclude a tasting after structured red wines.
