Barolo - "Del Comune di La Morra" DOCG
100% Nebbiolo trained in Guyot and from sustainable viticulture
Colour: bright ruby red, evolving into more mature shades with aging.
Nose: ample and complex bouquet, with notes of plum jam, cherry liqueur, and small red fruits. There are also hints of wild rose and violet, star anise, rice powder, and peach pit, complemented by nuances of cedar and gentian, with a tarry finish.
Mouth: supple and harmonious, marked by aromas of black fruit jam and liquorice. The elegant tannins are balanced by a lovely acidity and a well-integrated alcohol level.
The retro-nasal olfaction reveals menthol notes and medicinal herbs, with excellent persistence on the palate.
Agreement: versatile, it elegantly accompanies starters, savoury tarts, and pasta dishes, but reveals its full potential alongside red meat dishes, game, and medium to long-aged cheeses.
It is also remarkable with dark chocolate.
