Gorgonzola is an Italian cheese with a soft, creamy texture, recognisable by its green streaks resulting from the mould formation process.
There are two variants to choose from: Mild Gorgonzola, characterised by its creamy softness and sweet taste with a slight hint of spiciness in the aftertaste, and Spicy Gorgonzola, which is semi-hard and almost crumbly, offering a more intense, spicy experience in the mouth.
