Puccia set of 2
From Salento, at the extreme south of Puglia in the heel of the boot, and more specifically from the city of Lecce. It originates from peasant culture: simplicity of ingredients, richness in flavours, typical of Italian street food.
Puccia is an Italian bread baked in a wood-fired oven, measuring about 15 cm in diameter, with a light, airy, delicious yet crunchy dough, perfect for delightful hot sandwiches.
They are prepared with a dough similar to pizza dough and are topped with local and seasonal ingredients.
